Ag 400 is a synthetic silver-ion exchange molecular sieve possessing excellent performance characteristics for hydrogen removal in low-temperature vacuum systems. Additionally, it features the capability to selectively remove halogens from gas streams and facilitates catalytic hydrogen-oxygen reactions. This inorganic aluminosilicate material features a crystalline "supercage" structure characterized by uniform pore sizes. These pores possess open access channels capable of capturing a large volume of various contaminants, thereby optimizing the catalytic efficiency of the exchanged silver cations.
