Ambient Air Vaporizers for Cryogenic Fluids

Ambient air vaporizers for cryogenic fluids provide an outgoing gas flow at a temperature close to ambient temperature, supplying the necessary heat to the incoming cryogenic fluid.

The heat is absorbed from the surrounding air, making the process completely economical.

VAX 42

Typically represents the high-pressure series installed downstream of a pumping system to vaporize cryogenic fluid at pressures up to 420 bar as standard.

VAX 55

Like the VAX 42, the VAX 55 is a high-pressure series installed downstream of a pumping system to vaporize cryogenic fluid at pressures up to 550 bar as standard.

VAA 06

Typically represents the low-pressure series used in gas distribution plants. Directly connected to a storage tank, these units provide a constant gas flow under pressure up to 60 bar.

Water Ambient Vaporizers for Cryogenic Fluids

Water vaporizers are mainly designed according to the customer’s specifications. The heat exchange can occur with hot water, glycolated water, or other fluids introduced into the unit.

The construction materials are stainless steel and copper, with other materials available upon request. The heating fluid circuit can be either pressurised or non-pressurised.

Cryogenic Liquids are produced at liquefaction plants and transported to end users.  These liquids are then vaporized / re-gasified for different industrial and commercial applications.  In warmer countries ambient heat is available all 24 hours & 365 days.  This free energy is used for vaporization and therefore popularly called as Natural Draft Cryogenic Vaporizers

We also offers interconnecting piping precisely designed while taking care of contraction and expansion w.r.t. stress analysis.

Equalised distribution of cryogenic liquid into different vaporizer units in a bank is extremely important to avoid preferential flow of cryogenic liquid and eliminating the possibility of preferential short pass.  This also helps utilize full capacity of Ambient Cryogenic vaporizers and ensures modular vaporization at all times.

Accurate design of headers manifolding within the vaporizer enable complete utilization of entire vaporization circuit & avoids preferential flow, control the pressure drop and optimize fin configuration.

Preferential placement of fins i.e. 4, 8 and 12 in different vaporization zones ensures maximization of vaporizer capacity, at the same time uses aluminium mass at the right place, reduce defrost cycle time and enhance excellent in the super heating zone.
